The Minnesota Landscape Nursery Association (MNLA) headquarters landscape is a showcase of the breadth of knowledge and services provided by the Minnesota green industry, as well as a learning laboratory for the industry. The MNLA headquarters landscape serves as a setting for the MNLA to hold educational workshops for the industry and increase industry knowledge about horticultural/landscape topics. The landscape is a valuable resource for the Minnesota green industry, and it demonstrates the importance of sustainability and education in the field. The four main areas of the landscape design include rain gardens, outdoor gathering spaces, a water feature, and perennial gardens. The site design embodies sustainability in its thoughtful selection of materials, water management, and planting practices. The design also features products that support the landscape, including harvested water and renewable energy.
